Name:Student Teaching for Elementary Education
Description:This is an internship for senior Elementary Education students, providing experience in an accredited school. Under the direct supervision of a cooperating teacher, student teachers will become responsible for planning and teaching lessons, designing and implementing assessment and evaluation tools, and assuming all other duties required of the cooperating teacher. A Thomas College Supervisor will observe student teachers in the classroom, confer with the cooperating teachers, and take part in evaluation of the student teachers' performance.
