Name:Teaching at the Secondary Level
Description:This course is designed to assist students in becoming confident, effective professional educators at the secondary level (Grades 7-12). Among topics to be considered will be: learning theory, current trends in secondary instruction, classroom organization and management, assessment, and classroom application of various forms of technology. Students will explore general pedagogy as well as techniques specific to their academic specialization. Each student will develop a unit of instruction suitable for a secondary level classroom.
