Description:This course is an elective and is open to both IS and Education majors. It deals with the concepts and issues surrounding the evolving technology of multimedia. Much hands on time will be spent working with various multimedia such as digital graphic arts, presentation software options, video design, mapping tools, audio/music generators, and collaborative web tools.

Course Objectives

"Understand the terminology, functions and concepts of multimedia development.
"Understand the techniques, operation and role of sound, images, animation and video within multimedia.
Be able to create a dynamic multimedia presentation using Flash M
Understand the role of multimedia within the Internet
"Be familiar with the advantages, disadvantages and limitations of multimedia.
