S/he oversees stewardship efforts to move these donors up the giving ladder, and assists in developing appropriate acknowledgments, financial reports, and marketing materials accordingly. S/he works closely with the Assistant Dean and Vice President for Advancement as part of a cohesive, outcome-driven development effort within the Advancement office.

The Development Officer also participates in the planning and execution of key campus events, including Homecoming Weekend and other alumni engagement events.

Four-year college degree required. Additional requirements include: three to five years of previous development experience with demonstrated success in relationship building, solicitation, and stewardship; strong customer service focus; excellent verbal, written, and time management skills; and knowledge of fundraising best practices and job functions. Raiser's Edge or similar database experience and efficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred.

Interested applicants, please send your cover letter and resume, including contact information for three professional references, to Erin Baltes, Assistant Dean of Advancement, at baltese@thomas.edu.
